TRE, known as Tension or Trauma Reducing Exercises, is a simple series of exercises that help your body release deep muscular patterns of stress, tension and trauma. These stretching exercises safely activate a natural reflex response of shaking or vibrating through your body that releases tension in your muscles, calming down your nervous system. When this shaking/vibrating is activated in a safe and appropriate environment, your body tends to move towards a state of increasing balance.
